Happy New Year from Katsuyama City!

We here at Katsuyama City want to wish everyone at Moanalua High School a Happy 2014! The new year brings us that much closer to our trip to Oahu, and we are getting very excited to meet you all.

I hope everyone is having a fun winter vacation and enjoying their time off. I used a few vacation days to go home to Oahu and spend the holidays with my family. After coming back, I went to our city's ski resort, SKIJAM Katsuyama for a full day of snowboarding. The weather was perfect and I was able to take a few pictures of the scenery with my phone.

SkiJam is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan and is one of the many attractions we have in our city. Many people from the Kansai region, such as Osaka and Kyoto come to our city to snowboard at this resort.
